Bananas are highly beneficial to the digestive tract, soothing and aiding normal functioning of the system. Naturopaths recommend them for both constipation and diarrhea. Bananas are an energetic food source and always beneficial for fatigue. They improve the functions of the circulatory system. Bananas can be used ripe or raw to prepare various dishes. Here, we are making cutlets by combining raw bananas and BARNYARD millets with veggies, creating a protein and nutrient rich dish that is fully energetic and nourishing for all age groups.

Raw Banana Millet Cutlet

Here we're making cutlets by combining raw bananas and barnyard along with veggies which makes it protein and nutrient rich.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Medium Size Boiled Raw Bananas
  • 1/2 Cup Cooked Barnyard Millet
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Beetroot
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Carrot
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1/4 Tsp dry mango powder
  • ½ Tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Kitchen King Masala
  • 1/4 Cup Roasted Peanuts Half crushed
  • 1/4 Cup corriander leaves Finely Chopped
  • 2-3 Tsp Oil/butter

Instructions
 

  • Pressure cook raw banana with peels.
  • Once cooled remove the skin, take it in one bowl and mesh it.
  • Now add cooked, dry Barnyard millet into meshed banana.
  • Add chopped onion, grated Carrot and beetroot into the bowl.
  • Now add all the dry masalas namely, red chilly powder, dry mango powder, kitchen king masala and salt to taste.
  • Mix all together well that we can make cutlet shape out of the mixture.
  • Mold it in your desired shape.
  • Take a pan and once the pan is hot enough shallow fry the cutlets.
  • Even you can air fry the raw banana millet Cutlets and trust me its mouth-watering, Serve hot with green leaves chutney (recipe will be updated soon.)

1 – Onion finely chopped
½ cup – Beetroot (grated)
¼ cup – Carrot (grated)
2-3 – Green Chilies finely chopped
¼ tsp – Dry Mango powder
½ tsp – Red chilly powder
½ tsp – Kitchen king masala
1/4 cup – Half Crushed roasted Peanuts
¼ cup – Coriander leaves finely chopped
2-3 tbsp – Oil /Ghee for shallow frying [ Zero fat if you go for Air Frying]Salt to taste

Recipe :

Raw Mashed Bananas
  • Now add cooked, dry Barnyard millet into meshed banana.
  • Add chopped onion, grated Carrot and beetroot into the bowl.
  • Now add green chilies, coriander leaves and roasted crushed peanuts into the mixture.
  • Now add all dry masalas-red chilly powder, dry mango powder, kitchen king masala and salt to taste.
  • Mix all together well that we can make cutlet shape out of the mixture.
  • Mold it in your desired shape.
  • Take one pan and switch on the stove.
  • Once pan is hot enough shallow fry the cutlets.
  • Even you can air fry the raw banana millet Cutlets and Believe me it is yummy.
