Dates Kheer

Dates Kheer recipe is a really tasty and healthy recipe you and your family will love.

Dates are the fruit of the date palm tree, which is grown in many tropical regions of the world. Date is a load of carbs and fibers, it has very rich as antioxidant. Dates are natural sweetener. Everyone should have at least 3-5 dates everyday.

In this dates kheer recipe we have taken milk and coconut milk along with dates so kheer is a bowl of almost all nutrients. People who don’t prefer dates in their daily routine can have this bowl full of energy giving kheer.

INGREDIENTS  

  • 15 dates seedless
  • 2 litre milk boiled
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp cut dates finely chopped
  • 4-5 almonds finely chopped
  • 4-5 cashew nuts finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp ghee

Ingredients
  

  • 15 dates seedless
  • 2 litre milk boiled
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp cut dates finely chopped
  • 4-5 almonds finely chopped
  • 4-5 cashew nuts finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp ghee

Instructions
 

  • Boil milk in a thick bottom pan.
  • Soak 15 (if you prefer mildly sweet taste otherwise you can take 18-20 dates) seedless and cut dates in 1 1/2 cup hot milk for 15 minutes.
  • Heat the ghee in a pan and fry finely chopped 2 tbsp dates and dry fruits. Make them little crispy and keep them aside.
  • Blend soaked dates and make smooth paste of it.
  • Add this paste in boiling milk and boil for 5-7 minutes or until it is thick.
  • Switch off the stove and add coconut milk. Add crispy dates and dry fruits and cardamom powder and mix well.
  • You can serve hot or cold by garnishing with dry fruits.
