Oats and wheat cookies are energy giving snack you can have with your tea/coffee which gives you satiety. As Oats are a complex carbohydrate, so they’ll keep you feeling full longer than simple carbs. Wheat flour is good source of carbohydrates and energy.
This recipe will inspire you to cook cookies frequently.
INGREDIENTS
- 3/4 cup wheat flour
- 1/4 cup roasted gram flour (Besan)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats powdered
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- pinch of salt
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 3-4 tsp milk
- few dried cranberries for decoration
Oats and Wheat Cookies
Ingredients

Instructions
- Beat the butter and brown sugar in a bowl until sugar melts and it is fluffy.
- In one bowl mix dry ingredients – wheat flour, roasted besan, powdered rolled oats along with baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon powder.
- Now mix the dry ingredients with butter-sugar mix until it becomes crumbly.
- Knead the cookie dough with 2-3 spoonful of milk, as per requirement.
- Rest the dough in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
- Until then preheat the oven at 180` C and grease the baking tray.
- Now roll the cookies in desired shape and top with dry cranberries.
- Bake the cookies for 15 minutes and voila!
- Let them cool and they are ready to serve.
