Dates are packed of fibers, minerals, vitamins and iron. As we said before you can eat dates everyday. It is good for health. But the access of dates can be harmful. Very few individuals may not eat or digest dates. Yes if you have any health issues then consult your doctor before consuming it.
Dates are such a holy fruit in the Middle East, so much that the date palm is regarded as the “Tree of Life”. Many varieties of dates with different shapes and flavors available in market, however, all of them are the same in nutrition.
You can eat dates raw or cooked. You can make variety of dishes out of dates, like- ice-cream, shake, desserts, sweets, salads, pancakes, parathas and many more.Here we are giving you sweet quick recipe of Khajur (Dates) dry-fruit laddoo.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Dates finely chopped
- 1/4 cup almond
- 1/4 cup cashew
- 2 tbsp milk powder optional
- 1 tsp ghee
- 2 tbsp Desiccated coconut optional

Ingredients
- 1 cup Dates finely chopped
- 1/4 cup almond
- 1/4 cup cashew
- 2 tbsp milk powder optional
- 1 tsp ghee
- 2 tbsp Desiccated coconut optional
Instructions
- Take a pan and roast almonds and cashew nuts.
- When cool down grind them in grinder. Make powder of it, if you like pieces of almond and cashews then roughly grind them.
- Now in a same pan heat the ghee. add finely chopped dates into it and saute for few minutes. When dates are soft and non sticky to the pan, add dry-fruits and milk powder. Mix them well for a minute. Switch off the stove.
- For Vegans, saute dates without ghee. Then add desiccated coconut and dry fruits mix well for a minute and switch off the stove.
- Once mixture is at room temperature Divide mixture in 5 portions and give them shape of Laddoo like a ball. Garnish with chopped almond. Here I have used a mould to give a shape.
- Healthy laddoos are ready for everyone.
