Banana Coconut Patties

Ingredients
  

  • 6 banana (raw)
  • 100 gm coconut (fresh) grated
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 2-3 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp oil for saute
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Pressure cook raw banana. Once cool down peel it and mesh it. Add salt into it and mix well. Divide it into about 8 to 10 portions.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and saute grated coconut, add ginger paste, chillies, sugar and salt, mix well and switch off the stove. Add lemon juice and mix it.
  • Take one small portion of meshed banana and make small round by pressing it gently in your hand.
  • Put one spoon of coconut mixture [as per the size of banana portion] into the center of rolled banana and cover it from all the sides like we filled stuffed parathas. Bind it tightly so when you deep fry it, coconut will not get separate out of banana roll.
  • You can shallow fry or deep fry these rolled patties as per your choice.
