Jam Topped Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Maida ( Plain flour)
  • 3 tbsp Custard powder (vanila)
  • 2 tbsp Milk powder
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Baking soda
  • 120 gm Butter
  • 70 gm Sugar powder
  • 2/3 tbsp Milk (need to bind the dough)
  • 50 gm Jam Filled in a piped bag

Instructions
 

  • Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Mix and sieve all the dry ingredients.
  • Add dry ingredients in small quantity to the butter and sugar mixture and make the dough lightly with hand. Add milk as per requirement to make a dough.
  • Preheat Oven to 180 degrees And Grease the Baking Tray.
  • Roll small coin like cookies and make a cavity in center using your finger.
  • Fill in the cavity with Jam using piping bag.
  • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes at 180 degrees till light pink in color.
  • With the Aroma of Vanilla Custard and Sparkling cooked Jam your COOKIES are ready.
  • Let them cool on the tray and then store in airtight container. Makes 20-22 cookies of coin size.
